What to Expect From Your Visit

Meet Dr. Arianna! She is trained and effectively utilizes a form of dry needling called Functional Dry Needling. During your visit, she will complete a short movement analysis before and after treatment to assess how dry needling impacted your system. The procedure itself should be relatively painless. The needle has a special coating to reduce friction so you ultimately won’t feet it. However, you may feel a soreness that is similar to a deep tissue massage during the process, but it’s typically short-term and will stop shortly after the procedure.

Are There Any Safety Risks?

Inherently with any invasive procedure, there are risks associated, however, special detail and precaution are taken to reduce risks. Dr. Arianna uses a sterilized procedure, properly discarding each needle in an enclosed container. She will also complete an extensive medical history and medication review to first identify if dry needling is right for you. With her experience and training, she is able to pull muscles away from “red flag” regions to avoid complications and takes great care to prevent bruises.
