Your evaluation includes a thorough assessment of your:

-Health history
-Supplements & medications
-Goals
Pains
-Prior treatment History
-Current health team
-Movement
-Soft tissue/organs
-Self care routines
-Mindset
-Nutrition

Even if it doesn’t seem related to your issue, the entire body works together and it’s important to get as many pieces of the puzzle as possible. Sometimes that injury as a child turns out to be the trigger for a cascade of health issues.

At your first session we dive right into treatment. Treating areas actually helps to further assess and help create your plan of care. This may include any/all of the following:

-Fascial work
-Soft tissue massage
-Joint mobilization
-Visceral manipulation
-Movement education
-Breathing education
-Posture education
-Essential oil use for support
-Toxin discussion
-Recommended referrals for things like nutrition, emotional support, bloodwork etc.
-Habit planning
-Activity modification

I know it sounds like a lot! That’s why we need a few sessions together.

At the end of the first session your plan of care is created. This includes:

-Your goals
-What we need to improve
-Movement homework
-Mobility homework
-Next steps: including any referrals and frequency of appointments

Muscle/joint issues - these sessions may be weekly until pain has resolved, and then spread out over weeks/months depending on goals.

Visceral manipulation - the second appointment is usually within 1-2 weeks after the evaluation. This will show how your body responds to the work, helping determine if you:
1. Are responding well and can be seen every 3-4weeks
2. Are responding slow and need every 1-2weeks

Combo of visceral and muscle/joint? A combination of the above!
