WHAT ARE YOUR MOVEMENT GOALS?!

WHAT ARE YOUR MOVEMENT GOALS?!

For me, 2020 was a year focused on:
- Organ movement (gut & headache)
- Parasympathetic activation (rest & digest)

This meant a lot less weight training & high-intensity workouts to help my body achieve health in a different way.

This year, I'm ready to bring back more weight training, with a focus on my squat mechanics (you can see I’m just barely at parallel here & pretty bent over....just enough to get some love from coach Ayni). This will include working on muscles, joints, nerves, organs, blood vessels....all of the things.

So what will you work on this year?
- A strength movement?
- Healing your nervous system?
- Diving into organ movement?
- Better digestion?
- Hormone balance?
- Finally kick that chronic pain?

Organ movement practices can help support any nutrition/health goal!

The body hugs the lesion

Feeling someone's posture before treatment is a way to evaluate what part of the body I'm going to work on that day.

Jean-Pierre Barral talks about the body literally hugging an area of injury or dysfunction. This hugging creates tension in that area of the system, which allows a trained hand to feel its location.

How cool is it that our body actually does this?! Guiding us to the area of highest need that day so we can heal and then move on to other areas that need attention.
